Bookshelves are important furnishing elements in our offices. They can contain books, docs, document folders but also display decorative objects, vases or travel souvenirs, becoming a real furnishing element able to determine the style of the environment in which it is located. Biblos Martex Bookcase is a system that is expressed in: Biblos_tower with shelves, floor standing or wall-hung and Biblos_grid with modular bookcase.
The tower version with its 30 mm thick shelves and aluminium columns is elegant and easy to assemble. This Bookshelf is available with 2 or 3 columns, in 3 different heights and 3 different lengths, in the wall-hung or floor-standing version. It can be customized with backs and sides, tops and bottoms but unlike Biblos_grid it is not possible to equip the compartments with doors, drawers or filing cabinets.
Martex modular bookshelf is a versatile system consisting of a black anodized aluminum frame, to which shelves, backs, drawers, chest drawers, doors, planter box, cushions and TV compartments can be added. It is totally customizable making each bookshelf unique and original, a single product that allows to obtain different compositions: from a bench, to a separating bookshelf in the middle of the room, up to a ceiling mounted bookcase.
| Biblos_Grid | Structure: In this version the bookcase is made up of frames made with extruded aluminum profiles section 20x20 mm and joints (3-way, 4-way and 5-way) in zamak alloy that allow the connection of the various sectors of the frame to create the required configurations. The finish is black. Shelves, sides and backs: made of melamine panels thickness 18 mm, edged with 1,5 mm ABS edge, or lacquered in the colors in the catalog, or in particle board panels th. 18 mm veneered and painted with transparent varnishes. The shelves are simply poistioned in place between the longitudinal crossings of the structure. Any side and back panels can be fixed with dedicated hardware even after installing the whole structure. Doors and drawer / Large drawer: made of melamine panel thickness 18 mm, edged with 1,5 mm ABS edge, or lacquered in the colors in the catalog, or in particle board th. 18 mm, veneered and painted with transparent varnishes. Drawers and large drawer: available in width 800 made of folded metal sheet epoxy powder painted. They are driven by full extraction ball guides; opening through “push & pull” mechanism mounted on the guides. |
| Biblos_Tower | Floor Standing: this version is available in 3 heights and 3 widths and consists of column frames made with extruded aluminum profiles section 20x20 mm and joints, connected by shelves with cantilevered terminals. Any back and side panels are fixed with dedicated hardware. It is not possible to equip the compartments with doors, drawers or filing drawers. All structures can be floor leveled. The characteristics of the materials are identical to those of the modular bookcase, with the exception of wood veneer version that is not available. Wall-hung: this solution is obtained from the previous one with the only variation that the structure has no feet and is not sitting on the floor, but hanged on the wall. The bookcase frame is fixed to the wall through screws and plugs; dowels for plasterboard are available. In this version it is mandatory to insert the sides between the frame and shelves in order to avoid any flexing of the frame. The characteristics of the materials are identical to those of the modular bookcase, with the exception of wood veneer version that is not available. |
